At New Journeyoga, we start with the breath, our best healing tool.  The Yoga that I offer is a Vinyasa Flow.  Vinyasa means to skillfully move with breath.  We move with integrity from one pose to the next.  Listening to your body and treating yourself with kindness and respect.  Listen to your inner voice to find your unique yoga style.  As we practice, we develop self-trust, self-awareness, and self-care.  This discovery is a powerful tool, for use on and off the mat.

Yoga poses are seated and standing with chair for support.
Have a sturdy chair for class.
For yogis that cannot get comfortably to the floor but want to increase mobility, improve flexibility and balance.

Use of traditional poses and connection with breath to promote sense of wellbeing. Increase strength, improve balance and flexibity as well as reduce stress.  Modifications for every unique body.

Weekly suggestions for mantras and meditations to quiet the mind. as well as words of encouragement and kindness.

SILVER SNEAKERS CLASSIC

SilverSneakers® Classic: Increase muscle strength and range of movement, and improve
activities for daily living. You’ll have a chair for seated exercises and standing support. You can modify the exercises for your fitness level.
